Brian K. Messisco

As National Accounts Manager-Government Sector, Brian Messisco specializes in creating liaisons with federal contract holders.  His extensive experience with government agencies has helped LVI secure major contracts with the General Services Administration, Army Corps of Engineers, Department of Energy, State Department, Federal Emergency Management Agency, Navy and various state and local entities.

Messisco was key in negotiating the Pentagon Renovations contract, valued at over $80 million when  fully completed, and has been an intricate part of securing contracts relating to natural and man-made disasters, including hurricanes, tropical storms, fires, tornadoes, earthquakes and floods.  His coordination of personnel, supplies, equipment, and manpower led to the successful performance of these projects, while his knowledge of all phases of project development has given him the diversity and experience required to secure and complete any environmental project. 

In addition to his work with the government sector, Messisco is responsible for developing and maintaining business relations with leading commercial and industrial clients through his involvement and coordination of projects such as high-rise buildings, shopping centers, hospitals, universities, hotels and public schools.

Messisco has been involved in the asbestos abatement and hazardous materials remediation field for more than 24 years.  He has held positions in project estimating and management, and as general manager, regional manager and corporate vice president of business development in all facets of the demolition, environmental and hazardous waste industry.

Messisco attended Catawba College and completed HAZWOPER and asbestos supervisor training from Georgia Tech.  He is a member of IMACC and DKI, and a board member of AGC.
